ROOT is the retired out of trade membership that the FBU offers people like us. Whilst other organisations offer help, it is worth noting that the FBU is the only body with whom the employers negotiate terms of service.
Add to this the fact. that the FBU have a longstanding relationship with Thompsons who provide legal services to FBU members. Other benefits of membership are outlined in the ROOT leaflet which is offered here for your information.
